A Field is a defined geographical area within a farm, representing a distinct management unit for agricultural operations. It is the leaf of the region tree—each field belongs to only one farm and serves as the spatial anchor for all operations, analytics, and recommendations.

Fields support multipolygon geometry, allowing a single field to be represented by more than one boundary shape. Geometry is validated automatically—duplicate points, self-intersections, and spatial overlaps within the same farm and time interval are prevented to ensure data integrity.
